IKGPTU Amritsar Campus Recognizes Student Achievements in Technical and Cultural Events with Prize Distribution Ceremony

A prize distribution event was held at the I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) Amritsar Campus to acknowledge and honor the students who excelled in various technical and cultural events throughout the academic year. The event was graced by Registrar IKGPTU, Dr. SK Misra as Chief guest. During his speech, Dr. S. K Misra praised the students for their hard work and dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their respective fields. He also emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping a well-rounded personality.

The welcome speech was given by Director IKGPTU Amritsar Campus, Prof. (Dr.) Amit Sarin, who appreciated the hard work and dedication of the students. The vote of thanks was given by Deputy Registrar Sh. Saurabh Sharma, who congratulated the winners and encouraged all the students to continue participating in such events to enhance their skills.

The prizes were distributed to the winners of various events. In the poster making competition, Bharat Singh Chauhan from B.Tech. CSE won the first prize, Kiran Kumar from B.Tech. CSE won the second prize, and Abhishek Kumar from B.Tech. CSE won the third prize.

In the Rangoli Competition, Manpreet Kaur from B.Tech. CSE won the first prize. In the quiz competition, Nikhil Sharma from B.Tech. CSE won the first prize, Kiran Kumar from B.Tech. CSE won the second prize, and Sukhbir Singh from B.Tech. CSE won the third prize.

In the Rangoli Competition held on the eve of Holi, Akanksha and Kashish from B.Tech. CSE won the first and second prizes, respectively, and Nisha from BCA and Kiran Kumar from B.Tech. CSE won the third prize. In the Technical Quiz—TECHNO Quest event, Aman Kumar Pandey from B.Tech. CSE won the first prize.

In the Coding Event (Byte Battle), Divyam and Shubham Singh from B.Tech. CSE won the first and second prizes, respectively, while Akash Gupta from B.Tech. CSE won the third prize.

Dr. Prabhkiran Kaur, Coordinator, Cultural Club, and Dr. Vipul Sharma, Coordinator, Technical Club of CSE, appreciated the members of these clubs for their tireless efforts in organizing these events and providing a platform for students to showcase their talents. The event was a huge success, and the winners were thrilled to receive their prizes from registrar Dr. SK Mishra.
