Workshop on “Automation using PLC” is being organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering of IKG PTU. The Guest speaker of this workshop was Er. Ajay Godara. Er. Godara is founder and director of ENOVATE SKILL and Mentor of Change in Niti Ayog, Govt. of India. It is a Two days event and on first day, the speaker emphasized on the importance of INDUSTRY 4.0 concept. He discussed about the importance and need of multi-disciplinary skills for the Engineers in today’s industry. He also gave a brief outlook on Artificial Intelligence and various software used in designing.
