100+ volunteers of IKGPTU & its affiliated institution donated blood at Virsa Vihar Jalandhar Camp
– Innocent Hearts Group, CT Group, APJ Management Institute, DAVIET, GNA and other leading educational institutes stepped up to participate on university message for blood donation

Jalandhar/Kapurthala I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) and its affiliated colleges played an important role in blood donation camp organized by Virsa Vihar Jalandhar on Tuesday. In this camp, more than 100 NSS/NCC volunteers and other students from the main campus of the university, Kapurthala and its affiliated Jalandhar educational institutions donated blood. Among these big & renowned educational institutions are Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions Jalandhar and Noorpur (45 units), CT Group of Institutions Jalandhar (27 units), GNA Phagwara (15 units), DAVIET (05 units), Main Campus (10 units), APJ Management Institute Rama Mandi (10 units) and others participated.

University Registrar Dr. S.K Misra, Dean College Development Dr. Balkar Singh and Deputy Registrar Public Relations Rajneesh Sharma motivated the students for this noble social service project as Blood Donation Camp. These high officials of the university were also involved in the inaugural ceremony of this camp. Registrar Dr. Misra said that the university teaches all the qualities of humanity, service, etc. to its students along with studies. The overall development of students is our prime duty. It is a proof of our grooming to students that the university and its colleges have participated in this camp more than ever before. He appreciated the initiative of Public Relations Wing of the University and Deputy Registrar Public Relations Rajneesh Sharma for participating in this camp.
