Department of Physical Sciences is offering B.Sc.(Hons)Physics, M.Sc. Physics and PhD. programs in Physics. Department has well equipped laboratories in Optics, Mechanics, Electromagnetism and Modern physics for undergraduates, Advanced Electronics, Atomic and Molecular, Nuclear, Condensed matter and Computational physics for graduate and post graduate students, which allows the students to explore a variety of experiments, thereby helping them in understanding the fundamental aspects of the subject.

- Curriculum of all the courses under the BOS (Physical Science, Nano Science and Engineering) are Learning outcomes-based
- Syllabus of Physics courses being offered for B.Tech. (CSE, ME, ECE, EE, CE) are as per the model curriculum prescribed by the AICTE
- Syllabus of UGC courses is based on the Choice based credit system guidelines of UGC
