Jalandhar/Kapurthala : Observations are important to take innovative steps. You can start any innovation from your observations. No dream is too big, no place is too small and there is no better time than ‘now’. If you are determined, nothing is difficult. These motivational words are delivered by International Youth Motivational Speaker and Career Guidance Expert Simerjit Singh. He was addressing the students as guest speaker at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) on Wednesday. Simerjeet Singh here inspired thousands of students who participated in the biggest event of the year “NAVONMESH 2.0” of the University to strive continuously for a better future. When he was addressing from the stage, the students were talking to him as free birds. In his time of almost two hours, he kept the students constantly tied to him. International Youth Motivational Speaker Simerjit Singh managed a few game items to motivate students towards innovation.
Dr. S. K. Mishra, Registrar IKGPTU, was the special guest of the event. He read the message received from, Sh. Rahul Bhandari, IAS, Vice Chancellorcum Principal Secretary, Technical Education & Industrial Training Department, for the students from the stage first. Dr Mishra gave a message to the students to actively participate in such events. He said that this is an opportunity to look for opportunities outside the class rooms, to learn and to experience new things. University Registrar Dr. S.K. Mishra congratulated all the participants and motivated them to participate in the success of “NAVONMESH 2.0”. Students performed various Cultural Events on this occasion.
University’s Deputy Director Corporate Relations Er. Navdeepak Sandhu said that It is a matter of pride that a world-famous motivational speaker came to our University to interact with our students even on a very short notice. He shared Simerjit Singh’s words in which he said that it’s his duty towards the nation to perform and motivate to the government institution students.
“NAVONMESH 2.0” will continue for two consecutive days. In this program, students are given the opportunity to compete in more than 20 different events, in which they get the opportunity to perform in different categories while performing on the spot events. On the first day 10 events Aerothon, Ohmphere, En Cypher, CAD IT, Engineers Craft, Hydra Load, Maze Mike etc were performed by the students.
