IKGPTU VC inaugurates Expanded Area of “Nirog Yuva Yoga Center”
Jalandhar / Kapurthala ( ) On the occasion celebration of International Yoga Day at I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) on Tuesday, the “Nirog Yuva Yoga Center” was rejuvenated, expended and opened for university students in a new form. It is worth to mention that “Nirog Yuva Yoga Center” has already been established near the gym area in the university campus, which has been recently expanded by connecting it to the open area in view of the increasing demand of the students. Sh. Rahul Bhandari, Sr. IAS officer, as Vice Chancellor cum Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Traning Govt. of Punjab with Registrar Dr. S.K Mishra, inaugurated it on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Sh. Bhandari along with university students and staff also did yoga on this occasion. University’s NCC & NSS activities Incharge cum Assistant Professor Dr. Chandra Prakash and Programmer Vinay Kehar from Student Welfare Department performed yoga training as instructors
