Always be ready to learn, accept shortcomings and create friendships to immerse yourself in new environment. This message to the students is from Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, Vice-Chancellor, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU). He was addressing as the Chief Guest, the closing ceremony, valedictory function of the 26-day Students Induction Program (SIP) at the main campus of the University. He motivated students to follow your passion, always stay motivated and think boldly about your goal to move forward. On this occasion, the welcome message of university registrar Dr. S.K Misra to the new students was also read.

At the beginning of the program, program coordinator Jitendra Narula informed about the various activities done by the students in a total of 26 days. A brief of Lectures, workshops, daily activities conducted by Student Welfare Department was also shared. A 12-minute film on the subject SIP was also screened. The welcome message of the ceremony was read by the Dean Student Welfare Dr. Gaurav Bhargava. Assistant Professor Dr. Chandra Prakash shared information about the university with the students. Meanwhile, a special booklet made by the students regarding the Students Induction Program was also released. The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University had a special contribution in preparing the video and booklet.
