IKGPTU Management and Hospitality Department recorded 100%

placement Jalandhar/Kapurthala ( ) I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) Management and Hospitality Department of Main Campus has recorded 100% campus placement and students training for the year 2022-23. Prof Dr Harmeen Soch, Head of Department shared that students of Department of Management & Hospitality, Main Campus, Kapurthala have been recruited by PNB MetLife and Hotel Trident, Jaipur. There is 100% placement of students of BHMCT for six months industrial training in 4 and 5 Star Hotels all over the country. Similarly, 100% students of MBA have also been selected for industrial training in Companies of repute like BCCL Jharkhand, Verka Milk Plant Jalandhar, Teamlease Services Limited New Delhi, IncNut Digital Hyderabad, Solitare Infosys Mohali, HAL etc. She said that Previously the students of this Department have been selected for short term programs in Indonesia and are also pursuing further studies in Europe and Canada. The Department is pioneer in recruiting UGC funded PhD students who are researching in path breaking areas of Management. A grant of

approx. 4 crores has already been received by the University on account of these PhD students. All faculty members of this Department are PhD and ensure that classroom teaching is experiential with role plays, games, exercises etc. The admission to BBA, BHMCT and MBA is open and shall be closed shortly.
