Team Tata Technologies visited IKG PTU campus
Mr. Anand Bhade, President, APAC Sales, Global Marketing & Communications, Tata Technologies & his team members visited I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University on November 23, 2018. This was the first official visit of an authority of Tata Technologies. The objective of this visit was to check & going through the possibilities of both organizations’ joint project Centres for Innovation, Invention & Incubation (CIIITs). University officials welcomed to Guests. Team also interacted with Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma & shared execution steps of the project.
It is worth mentioning that Tata Technologies in collaboration with IKG PTU is going to setup 5 Centers for Innovation, Invention & Incubation (CIIITs) in the state of Punjab to promote technical education and Skill development at a cost of Rs. 739 Crore. In this regard a MoU was signed by both the organizations in the month of October in the presence of State Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sharma said, that as per the decision of state government, out of total five CIIITs, one centre will establish in the name of Sh. Guru Nanank Dev ji. He said that these centres would impart practical knowledge to students to make them employable.
