About – Centre of Training & Placement

To actively reach out to the corporate world for facilitating the best placements for IKG-PTU students, University has a Centre of Training & Placement (CT&P). The main endeavor of CT&P, IKG-PTU is to get students placed in reputed multinationals, government Organizations, NGO’s and the private sector. All students registered with CT&P are provided placement assistance, counseling for employment and self/Social entrepreneurship. CT&P assures logistic support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making university infrastructure available to them. CT&P act as an interface between the industry and the students, and primarily enable the students to select from their career options. CT&P also conducts career related seminars and workshops to enable the students to become successful professionals.
CT&P, IKG-PTU is the nodal point of contact for companies seeking students from IKG-PTU campuses and its affiliated colleges for training and placement. CT&P organizes Joint Campus Placement Drive(s) of various MNCs at University Campus and its affiliated colleges. University also works in collaboration with various industrial associations like Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Punjab Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI), The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE Chandigarh), Jalandhar Management Association (JMA), Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) etc. to provide best employment opportunities to the students.
