IKGPTU’s Institute CIIIT provides training to ITI students
Jalandhar / Kapurthala With the objective of better practical training to the students, I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) established Center for Innovation, Invention and Incubation (CIIIT) and now these institutes are also providing training to I.T.I (Industrial Training Institute) students. University is running two institutes supported by Tata Technologies. These two centers are operated from Sultanpur Lodhi and University main campus kapurthala. In order to get feedback from the students who are taking training here, and to meet their needs, the University Registrar made a special visit to the CIIIT Sultanpur Lodhi Campus. During this visit he also planted saplings in the campus.
Registrar Dr. S.K. Mishra said that the success of technical education completely depends on practical training. Under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor of the University. Mr. Rahul Bhandari IAS the University is paying special attention to practical training and both the centers of CIIT are providing better practical. He said that the university is working together to provide every facility to the students studying here, which is completely dependent on the feedback of the students. Registrar Dr. SK Mishra also planted saplings in the campus. On this occasion, Campus Coordinator Dr. Jujhar Singh, Deputy Registrar Joginder Singh and others were also present.
