Sri Amritsar Sahib/Jalandhar/Kapurthala Science has immense possibilities to provide an easy and effective life to the society, the country and the world as well as to remain on the path of development. There is a lot of curiosity towards science among the children. They also have the passion to join science. All that is needed is to guide their passion in the right direction. Therefore, it is the first and biggest responsibility of the technical universities, institutions to connect the children to the young generation with science. This recorded message was given by Dr. Susheel Mittal, Vice Chancellor, I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU), Jalandhar-Kapurthala during the “Children Science Congress” event organized at IKG PTU Sri Amritsar Sahib Campus. He considered this technical university event organized for school students in Sri Amritsar Sahib as the catalyst for a better tomorrow for the technical education of the state.

I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) Amritsar Campus, located inside the Government Polytechnic College, Chheharta, successfully organized the Children’s Science Congress on 02nd November. The event aimed to foster and celebrate scientific curiosity and innovation among students’ senior secondary classes, underscoring the campus’s unwavering dedication to nurturing young scientific talent and cultivating a love for science among the youth. The event featured a diverse range of engaging activities, including Project Exhibition and Model Displays, a Science Quiz, and a Poster Making Competition. Impressively, over 250 students from 40 different schools in the Amritsar District actively participated in various events at the Children Science Congress.

The enthusiastic participation of the students was evident throughout the event, with many students showcasing their scientific projects and models, participating in a challenging science quiz, and demonstrating their creative skills in the poster making competition. The winners of these events received exciting prizes as a token of recognition for their outstanding contributions to the scientific endeavors of the Congress.

Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, the Vice Chancellor of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the I.K.
