– IKGPTU organized a Special session on the nationwide campaign “Viksit Bharat 2047” at its Main Campus, Students were motivated for maximum participation
Jalandhar/Kapurthala The number of youths in the country’s population is high, youth power is the future of our country. This power together, working with better ideas, will make Bharat, Viksit Bharat by 2047. A campaign has started in the country with the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047” for various better ideas, let’s join together and participate in it. This invitation has been given to the young generation by Dr. Susheel Mittal, Vice Chancellor, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU). Vice Chancellor Dr. Mittal was addressing the special session on “Viksit Bharat 2047” organized in the main campus of the University as the chief guest. He encouraged the students to register their idea in this campaign by 25th December on the Government of India’s related website mygov.in under “Viksit Bharat 2047”.
University Registrar Dr. S.K. Misra attended the program as a special guest. He discussed the importance of the subject among the students. The program was organized by the Student Welfare Department of the University.
Dean Academic Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Chawla addressed everyone as the keynote speaker. He awakened the inner feelings of everyone and inspired them to make honest efforts in this regard. His words inspired students to participate in this campaign enthusiastically.
Dean Student Welfare Prof. (Dr.) Gaurav Bhargava shared information on the topic “Viksit Bharat”. Its aim is to make the country a developed nation by the 100th year of its independence i.e. 2047. This vision issued by the Prime Minister’s Office of the country includes various aspects of development including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance. In this context, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has also released the process of participation for all the youth. Under the campaign, the voices of the youth will be recognized, and their views will be addressed. For this, 3 prizes will also be given for each subject.
On this occasion, Dean Faculty Dr. Satbir Singh, Deputy Registrar Engineer Sunil Kumar, Deputy Registrar Rajneesh Sharma, Assistant Professor cum NSS Incharge Dr. Chandar Parkash, Assistant Director (Youth Services) Sameer Sharma and others were present. University students, faculty, officers and employees together participated in this session.
