– From “Marziyaan De Malkan Di Baat Hi Kujh Hor Hai..” to “Koshish Te Kariye” the audience sang with Sartaaj
– Dr.Satinder Sartaj prayed for flood affected people with soulful performance
Jalandhar/Kapurthala I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU)’s auditorium Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, witnessed the magic of Dr Satinder Sartaaj magical musical night on Saturday. There was a combination of Sufi Music, Classical Music and Poetry. From evening till Night at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Auditorium of IKGPTU, The performance of Dr. Satinder Sartaaj, known as the King of Kalam, worked wonders. The singer-performer Sartaaj had arrived at the auditorium for a private company-sponsored show. The 800 plus audience present in the auditorium danced, sang non-stop for three hours during his performance.
On behalf of University Vice Chancellor Dr Susheel Mittal, the Registrar Dr S.K. Misra, Dean P&EP Dr. RPS Bedi and Finance Officer Dr.S.S.Walia, Deputy Registrar Rajneesh Sharma & Deputy Registrar Paramjit Gill welcomed Sartaaj. There was a round of applause when Sartaaj repeatedly mentioned the name of Jalandhar district, Kapurthala to Doaba region in his songs. He also conducted a musical competition from the stage between the audience of Kapurthala and Jalandhar.
At the beginning of the program with “Marziyaan De Malkan Di Baat Hi Kujh Hore Hai..” to “Koshish Te Kariye”, the audience sang along with Sartaaj. Sartaj made everyone dance on “Cheere Walia. ..” and “Kite Ni Tera Rutba Ghatda”. From the stage of the University Dr. Satinder Sartaaj prayed for early averting of the calamity from the flood affected areas. He inspired everyone to stand together with the affected people in this disaster and also urged for all possible help.
