The Farewell for BCA Batch – 2020 of I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University was held on 8th May, 2023, Monday at the Seminar Hall. The name of the event was FINAL FELIZ, which In French translates to Happy Ending and it was organized and managed by the students of the 4th semester of BCA.
Dr. Vikas Chawla, the Dean of the Kapurthala campus, and Dr. Satvir Singh, HOD CSE Department, were the Chief Guests. After the traditional lamp-lightening ceremony and their inspirational welcome speeches, the event finally started. The whole auditorium was filled with joy and excitement as each performance was coming up. The juniors, seniors, faculty members and the guests, all were enjoying to the most. After that the Farewell contest started. The judges to the contest were Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, Ms. Manpreet Kaur and Ms. Anupriya Kaushal. The students had an incredible ramp-walk and introduction.
There were numerous mesmerizing performances such as Solo dances, Singing, Freestyle Salsa and the Bhangra that had everyone on their feet. The results of the contest came out. The title Ms. Talented was given to Ms Dayani Kaushal. Ms. Farewell was bagged by Ms Aastha Kaura and Mr. Farewell as given to Mr. Gurpreet Singh. After a great meal, everyone danced on the DJ which concluded the day.
