Jalandhar/Kapurthala : Dr. S.K Mishra, Finance Officer I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) has also been given the responsibility of Registrar of the University. Dr. Mishra took over charge as the 16th Registrar of the University. On Wednesday, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Rahul Bhandari IAS, who is also the Principal Secretary Technical Education Department, entrusted him with this responsibility in view of the efficient leadership of Dr. Mishra. He assumed his new responsibility in the presence of Vice Chancellor Rahul Bhandari IAS.

Addressing the staff on this occasion, Dr. Mishra said that his goal would be to make high-end technological systems like national level technical educational institutions!. He appealed to the university staff, faculty and officials to cooperate for the development of the university and assured everyone that they would work together for the best future of the University. Dr. Mishra has studied at IIM Bangalore, Punjab Technical University and Lucknow University. He had earlier served as Registrar at Dr.B.R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar on deputation from IKGPTU. He has also been selected as Registrar in Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh. Dr. Mishra has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Education Administration of Technical Education, Finance and Accounting, Research, Skill Development, Public Policy & Management.

University Dean Prof. Yadvinder Singh Brar, Director Distance Education Dr. RPS Bedi, Director Finance and Accounts Dr. Sukhbir Singh Walia and others were present on this occasion.
