UGC recognized courses of IKGPTU Distance Education – Admission allowed in January 2020 academic session
An established name in Quality Distance Education, I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for admission in Distance Education for January 2020 intake. The university has received this recognition for admission to Bachelor Degree level and Master’s degree course. The Courses that have been recognized include Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication), Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications and Master of Commerce in Master’s Degree course category.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma congratulated Dr. Amanpreet Singh, Director (Administration) ODL, Prof. (Dr.) Y.S.Brar Director ODL and his team on this achievement. VC Prof. Sharma said that he is confident that the students will again show their confidence in distance education of IKG PTU as before and will enroll in their favorite courses.
They have also assured that distance education students will be provided with better facilities through e-governance.
