Students of IKGPTU bring Laurels
- One student achieved 3rd position in Huawei ICT Skill India Competition, another student achieved 2nd position in Innotech-2019
Student of I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University, Ankit Gautam, of B. Tech. CSE 6th semester has brought laurels to the University by securing 3rd position amongst 3000 participants by qualifying various levels in the National Finals of “Huawei ICT Skill India Competition 2018-2019”. He is honoured at an award ceremony held at Huawei, Gurugram Office, where he was honoured with Trophy, Certificate, and Huawei Smart Phone. He has been shortlisted to participate in a fully sponsored International Competition of Huawei ICT Global Finals scheduled at Shenzhen, China in May, 2019.
Another student of IKGPTU Manjinder Singh from B Tech CSE 4th semester stood 2nd in the Competition “Innotech-2019” held at Pushpa Gujral Science City, Jalandhar, by sharing his innovative idea on Digital Learning amongst 30 participants across state of Punjab. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma and HOD, Department of Computer Science & Engineering along with faculty members congratulate Ankit and Manjinder for their prodigious achievements.
