Recent Advances in Robotics and Applications (RA)2
ECE department of IKGPTU organized a one-day Workshop on “Recent Advances in Robotics and Applications (RA)2” on February 24, 2020. Venue of the event was Seminar Hall- IKG PTU Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Faculty members, research scholars and students of the ECE department and other related departments participated in the event.
Dr Ahmed CHEMORI from LIRMM – CNRS, France distinguished between various types of robotics and classified them. He also went on to tell about Advanced Control of Complex Robotic Systems.
Dr Neelesh KUMAR, Sr Principal Scientist at CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh was the other speaker and appraised the participants about Exoskeleton Device for Rehabilitation.
Overall, the event was a huge success and students gained a lot from this workshop. The students felt motivated and is expected that they will also excel in these field. Concluding remarks were given by Dr Amit Gupta of the ECE Department of the Host institute. The program ended with a vote of thanks and distribution of mementos.
