tudents of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) participated online in the “National Induction Program 5.0” conducted by Spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji. This program was organized across the country on Thursday, 22 August 2024. In the command of Dean Academics Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Chawla, students joined the event with full enthusiasm. The program was organized under the leadership of University Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal. Registrar Dr. S.K. Misra considered this event very special for the students of the new session.

It is worth mentioning that the Policy and Academic Planning Bureau of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had sent invitations to all the prestigious academic institutions of the country to join this program. It was mentioned that at the start of a new academic year, a new group of students have joined the institute for the first year. It was important to conduct an online session to support and guide them as they move forward in this transformative phase of their lives. For the last four academic years, students have been guided by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji through a live session as part of the induction program. Gurudev’s profound insights and wisdom have played a vital role in helping students from diverse backgrounds adjust to the new academic environment and adopt the ethos of the institute.
Students from all departments of the University main campus as well as other campuses were connected to it.
