IKGPTU signed MoU with Huddersfield University UK
Jalandhar/Kapurthala with the aim to provide global education opportunities to its students, I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huddersfield University of the United Kingdom (UK). To provide better academic opportunities to its faculty & staff members is also an aim of this MoU. The MoU was signed as the first copy in the month of January. After the signing of the final copy in this month, now both the educational institutions will work to develop better opportunities for their students in the both countries with the spirit of mutual progress and partnership.
Prof. (Dr.) Yadwinder Singh Brar, Dean P&EP IKGPTU shared that it was a proposal and our team explored the various academic aspects of it. After the relevant meetings with authorities & as per the record work, University signed over it. Dr Singh said that now both the universities are capable of exploring various schemes related to academic growth of teaching and research. He said that Universities will also work on exchange of staff, arrange seminars, lectures, conferences and exchange of educational materials with each other.
Director P&EP Dr. Ekonkar Singh Johal told that it will be reviewed on an annual basis. They will work for the five consecutive years for joint academic activities.
Shri Rahul Bhandari IAS, Vice Chancellor and Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Training has congratulated Team P&EP for this academic initiative.
