IKGPTU celebrated 69th Republic Day with great fervor
I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University celebrated 69th Republic Day with great fervor. Initiating the event, IKG-PTU Dean Planning & Development Dr. N.P. Singh who was the Chief Guest, unfurled the National Flag along with other officers and employees of the University.
A cultural program was organized by the students of University Main Campus. Students performed dance numbers and sung patriotic songs on this occasion.
The welcome speech has been delivered by Director Students Affair Dr. Sukhbir Singh Ahluwalia. After that University’s employee Mukhtiar Singh sung a poetic song on Bharat Ratna Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar ji.
In his Republic Day speech Dr. A.P. Singh stressed on the real meaning of Republic Nation. He said, “Republic means when an individual is full of rights & solutions and is living a happy as well as satisfactory life.”
Finance Officer Dr. S.K.Misra also congratulate the audience on this occasion.
The event was graced by students, faculty as well as officers and employees of IKG-PTU. The event was successfully concluded by standing for the National Anthem.
