– IKGPTU CEE department organized one day seminar on “financial planning – investment & savings”

Jalandhar/Kapurthala The Center for Executive Education (CEE) of I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) organized a one-day seminar on the subject “financial planning – investment & savings” at Main Campus. Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, Vice-Chancellor joined this event as the Chief Guest. CEE Head cum Registrar Dr. S.K. Misra joined as guest of honor. After Lighting the Lamp ceremony, the program started with introductory speechs. Dr. Kapil Gupta, Assistant Professor at Department of Management IKGPTU Main Campus, addressed this seminar as a subject expert.

Addressing the opening ceremony as the chief guest, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal said that financial investment and planning is a subject which is having an important demand today. This subject is both motivational and life oriented too. He said that fund management is not only the link of personal success, but also has great importance at the institutional level, family security level. The need for such information helps in implementing financial investment in life.

CEE Head and Registrar Dr. S.K. Misra said that financial planning helps us fight the tough times in our lives. He said that it is necessary for every person to save money in order to live his life properly, but the right investment of that savings is also extremely important. He said that money has its own special place in human life, which is his personal need and with this he can provide his family with adequate facilities and provide good education to his children. He congratulated the entire team for undertaking the seminar related to financial planning.

Spokesperson Dr. Kapil Gupta said that the basic need of life is money. Money is not everything, but money is everything in times of need. Man earns money to live, but along with earning money, saving money is also very important. He made the government employee aware about investing their money through different parameters. They tell us how to save by investing in various insurances, mutual funds till retirement! He shared information about investment planning through a very effective PPT.

At the end of the seminar, CEE Deputy Registrar Saurav Sharma thanked the officers, faculty members, students and all the employees present. In the end, Registrar Dr. S K Misra & Dean Faculty Prof Dr. Satvir Singh given certificates to the participants
