IKGPTU and METPL. Cloud Join Hands to Strengthen Faculty, Students & Startup Innovation in AI and Cloud Technologies
Kapurthala, Punjab: I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with METPL.Cloud, a leading cloud and artificial intelligence solutions provider, to enhance the technological capabilities of incubated startups and promote an innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, Vice Chancellor, IKGPTU, and Mr. Govindpreet Singh, CEO & Founder, METPL.Cloud. Also present were Dr. M.S. Bedi, Assistant Director, BIC, and Mr. Siddhant Rakesh, Industrial Coordinator, BIC.
Under this partnership, Faculity, Students & startups at IKGPTU Campuses and Affiliated
colleges will receive subsidized access to cloud, AI, and SaaS platforms, along with ready-touse development environments for AI/ML, IoT, and web applications. They will also benefit from end to-end DevOps support and expert AI/ML mentorship to accelerate product development and innovation.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal stated, “This partnership will significantly strengthen our Faculity, Students & startup support infrastructure and enable young innovators to build scalable, future-ready solutions.”
Mr. Govindpreet Singh added, “We are committed to equipping Academia & startups with the right technology backbone. Together with IKGPTU, we look forward to accelerating impactful innovation.”
