IKGPTU alumni Bhushan Kumar selected by UPSC

Sh. Bhushan Kumar (40), alumni of I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University got selected under special provisions by UPSC. He passed B.Tech Mechanical engineering from I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University’s affiliated Institute GNE Ludhiana 1995-99 batch. Bhushan kumar is currently working as General Manager with GSPC LNG Limited. He is head of Shipping, Business Development and Contracts departments. He has vast experience in Shipping and Projects. He has played key role in several projects at different ports in India. His experience would be useful for Ministry of Shipping’s in implementing their flagship Sagarmala Project having several projects of more than 4 lakh crore.
He is youngest among 9 selected by UPSC. Minimum age was 40 years for UPSC application & Bhushan was 40 years and 9 days on cutoff date. He has 20 years experience in shipping and projects. Currently he is working as General Manager in GSPC LNG (a Gujarat State Petroleum Corppration company).
On his success, Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor IKGPTU congratulated him and said that brilliant students are lifetime assets for an institution and Bhushan Kumar is one of them. University feels proud on him.
