Building and Running Large Language Models.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Main Campus, organized an expert talk on “Building and Running Large Language Models.” The session was delivered by Dr. Sandeep Singh Sandha, co-founder of ML0.AI, and alumnus of IIT Roorkee and UCLA.
Dr. Sandha shared valuable insights on how large language models like ChatGPT and chatbots work. He explained the process of tokenization, prediction, and mapping in language models and demonstrated practical applications. He also discussed the future scope of AI and its potential to revolutionize industries.
The event was graced by Dr. Satvir Singh, Dean Students’ Welfare, Dr. Rajeev Bedi, Head of Department (CSE), and Dr. Anshu Bhasin, Faculty Coordinator of the event. CSE students actively attended and participated in the session.
