The Department of Planning and External Programmes aims to manage the International and Outreach and other collaborative programs. Department is managing coordination of University with external partners for programmes like student exchange, faculty exchange, Academic Materials exchange etc. MoUs are signed between IKGPTU and reputed foreign Universities. Close liaising with I.C.C.R. (Indian Council of Cultural Relations) to cater admission of foreign nationals in various academic programmes of university.
The Department of Planning and External Programs exercises the overall coordination of University Teaching Departments and Constituent Campuses. Department is coordinating evaluation and implementation of University strategic plans. Department is involved in overall Planning of University Main campus and its constituent campuses for administrative, financial, academic, admissions and infrastructure.
