Four passed out alumni students of B.Tech EE program Batch 2020-2024, IKG PTU Main campus, Kapurthala, namely: Mr Manish Kumar, Mr Deepak Gupta, Mr Krishan Kant and Mr Himanshu Raj, visited the department on 13th August 2026. During the day, they were invited to talk, and encourage the current students of Electrical Engineering Department. During their interaction with students, all these students shared their experiences and learnings during their stay in the department and campus. Venue of the event was Lecture hall-210, 2nd floor in the department. All inspired the current students to focus on clearing their fundamentals of Electrical Engineering program. They shared their industrial experiences, and skill sets as demanded by the industry of today. The various skill sets as demanded by industry in multi-disciplinary areas were discussed the students. Especially, they stressed to undertake the regular studies in such a way that the students must appear and must put a sincere effort for clearing their All-India services examination, likewise GATE and IES exams. The clearing of such exams helps them to get themselves placed in various public sector and government undertakings. Also, they encouraged them to undertake their higher studies for pursuing the post-graduate, and various research programs. Dr Yadwinder Singh Brar, HOD-EE thanked all these passed out students for their valuable time spent with the current students, and asked the current students to follow their advise. During the occasion, the department faculty members Dr Akhil Gupta, Dr Naveen Kumar Sharma and Er Kulraj Kaur were also present. Finally, all the students thanked all four passed out students for their motivational words.
