Mentorship and Professional Development Session Organised by Centre of Training & Placement

The Centre for Training & Placement (C-T&P), I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, organised a Mentorship and Professional Development session on 5 February 2026 at the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Auditorium. The session was open to students of all streams and semesters of the University.
The session was conducted by Mr. Mohit Jain, Assistant Registrar (Corporate Relations & Alumni), who shared valuable insights on career planning, professional discipline, and the structured placement process followed by the University. He briefed students about the role of C-T&P in facilitating training, internships, industry interaction, and placement opportunities.

The session encouraged students to develop clarity of purpose, self-confidence, and a proactive approach towards learning and career development. It also reinforced the importance of internships, assessments, co-curricular participation, and professional conduct in achieving long-term success. The Mentorship and Professional Development initiative reflects the University’s continued commitment to guiding students through structured mentoring and industry-aligned professional development activities.
