Academics Department

Academics Department is backbone of all the academic activities in University. The functions of Academics Department are framing and implementation of academic regulations for university campuses and for affiliated colleges, preparing annual academic calendar, framing, updating and implementation of syllabus for various courses, implementation of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), Migration, Re-admission and Branch Change, Issuance of various certificates i.e., Medium of Instruction, Equivalency, Letter of Recommendations etc., records and processing of cases relating to meetings of various academic bodies viz. Academic Council, Faculties, Board of Studies meetings, propose Award, Medals and Prizes to the students of University, constituent colleges and affiliated colleges, conduct of Academic Seminars, Conferences, and workshop, proposal for starting Vocational /Special Skill Oriented Courses/new courses and Organizing Faculty Development Programmes. The functions of Admission cell are formulation of admission policy and procedure, preparation /publication of various brochures, conduct of Centralized online Counselling, Admission and Registration of National / International students under various courses, Collection of Admission processing fee, Eligibility checking and Maintenance of database of students.
