Mr Ishant Sharma, an alumni, passed out in June 2024 (of Batch 2021-2024, LEET student of B.Tech EE program, IKG PTU Main campus, Kapurthala) visited the department on 30th October 2025. During the day, he was invited to talk and encourage the students of Batch 2024-B.Tech EE, 3rd semester. During his interaction he inspired the students to focus on clearing their fundamentals of Electrical Engineering program. Especially, he stressed to undertake the regular studies in such a way that the students must appear and must put a sincere effort for clearing their All-India services examination, likewise GATE and IES exams. The clearing of such exams helps them to get themselves placed in various public sector and government undertakings. Also, it also encourage them to undertake their higher studies for pursuing the post-graduate and various research programs. Dr Yadwinder Singh Brar, HOD-EE thanked Mr Ishant Sharma for his time spent with the current students, and asked the students to follow his advise. Dr Akhil Gupta, AP-EE, asked the students to follow the inspirational words given by Mr Ishant Sharma in their studies. Finally, all the students thanked Mr Ishant Sharma for his inspiring words.
