Martyr’s Day of Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sh. Shivaram Rajguru and Sh. Sukhdev Thapar: 23 march 2022
To mark the occasion of World Wetlands Day, the NSS Wing Every year on 23rd March is observed and celebrated as “Shaheedi Diwas” with great passion and unity across India. Martyr’s Day of Sardar Bhagat Singh was organized by the NSS Unit of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala on 23rd March 2022, in remembrance of the three revolutionaries of India who were hanged to death by the British namely Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar. Dr Satvir Singh (Dean, Student Welfare) was the Chief Guest and a floral tribute was given by all the students to these three heroes. A play was organized by NSS Volunteers on the life history of these three heroes.
