IKG PTU conducted Training program on usage of IEEE online resource
To create maximum awareness between Faculty members, Students and Researchers about the usages of online E-Journal a training program conducted today at I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University today morning. The Knowledge Resource Centre of University organized this activity for the betterment of academicians as well students. This training programme was about the usage of IEEE online resource and EBSCO Discovery Search Engine. It was conducted in association with EBSCO.
Event Organizer Deputy Librarian Madhu Midha confirmed that 100+ Faculty members, Students and Researchers get benefitted by this activity. During the session Ritesh Kumar, Master Trainer from EBSCO, elaborated the details of access of online IEEE resources for Journals and EBSCO Discovery Search Engine to the students and research scholars. All the features and functionalities of both IEEE and EBSCO Discovery Search Engine platform were explained to all participating researchers.

Universitys Central Library has collection of approx. 18,000 Print books, 1517 e-Books and also access to large number of online full text journals and databases. All library e- resources can be accessed through Remote Access facility also.
