In order to develop the leadership qualities and to build confidence, IK Gujral Punjab Technical University organized two days leadership development learning programe “Tryst with Learning”. The resource person of the programe was a renowned Motivator Mr. Asit Ghosh from Institute of Leadership and Excellence, New Delhi. This programe was attended by IKG PTU grade ‘A’ employees. Mr. Asit Ghosh motivated the participants to begin any work by keeping in mind its end result. He also emphasized on Word values. He explained the value of two words, i.e., important and urgent, in our lives. He said we always spend our maximum hours to finish the urgent work but the actual satisfaction is to do important work. Mr. Ghosh also elaborated the difference between duty and service. He said when we perform a duty, it shows that we are performing an assignment only, but on the other hand, when we start a service, it is for our inner satisfaction.
